About Pentire
For a family getaway in a peaceful, rural location, Pentire offers a truly special setting. Whether you want to relax and unwind while enjoying some peace and quiet, or explore the many attractions that this popular area has to offer, this character filled house is the perfect base.
This bright and airy cottage has been recently refurbished and is finished to a beautifully high standard throughout. The modern kitchen is well equipped whether you want to whip up a quick lunch or create a culinary masterpiece. The spacious dining area looks across the glorious garden and has enough space for the whole family to dine in style.
The real highlight of this property is the large and well maintained garden to the back of the cottage. With the patio and dining table and mature trees overhanging, this is a wonderful spot to get in touch with nature and relax in the sun with the whole clan.
Although Pentire is set in a tranquil location away the noise of any towns, you will find the tourist destinations of Torbay and the charming town of Totnes easy to reach by car. If you don’t feel like venturing too far out, there is a village shop nearby and The Church House Inn, a locally renowned pub serving excellent food within walking distance.

What our visitors say…
We loved our stay and will be booking again, perfect for my Mum who is 91 and needs a ground floor bedroom and bathroom downstairs, the dogs loved the garden as did we and we even left some food for the birds and squirrels! nice touch with the cake, wine and groceries left for us.

Cannot fault Pentire. Great location with an enclosed rear garden for our doggies. Very comfortable bed which, we believe, contributes to a great holiday. Everything you need is here, even a lovely welcoming home baked cake. Would definitely return. Thank you.
